It Started With a Rant
After 20+ years in Ecommerce and Fintech, we’d seen the same movie on repeat: merchants obsess over conversion rates, average order values, and what products sell. They build dashboards that would make NASA jealous.
But ask them “Who is your customer?” and you get… silence. Maybe a shrug. Perhaps a mumbled “millennials who like yoga?”

Dimitar brings over two decades of hands-on experience at the intersection of Ecommerce, Fintech, and data-driven technology. His career spans building and scaling digital commerce operations across Europe, leading product strategy for financial platforms, and advising institutions on leveraging alternative data for smarter decision-making.
Before founding SocialScore, Dimitar held senior roles where he consistently identified a recurring gap in the market: businesses had unprecedented access to transaction data, yet remained remarkably blind to who their customers actually were. This insight became the foundation of SocialScore’s mission — to bridge the gap between knowing what customers buy and understanding who they are.
Under his leadership, SocialScore has grown into a trusted partner for merchants and financial institutions seeking to move beyond basic KYC compliance toward genuine customer intelligence. Dimitar is a recognized voice in the European Fintech ecosystem, frequently contributing to industry discussions on alternative data, BNPL innovation, and the future of customer-centric commerce.
